CCNP Routing and Switching is a professional level program in Routing and Switching technologies. It’s the next step of CCNA R&S certification i.e. candidates aiming for higher level courses like CCIE must have knowledge of CCNP courses.
CCNP R&S Certification training validates one ability to plan, create, implement, verify, and troubleshoot LAN and WAN. CCNP Routing and Switching certification is categorized by three main variants i.e. ROUTE, SWITCH, and TSHOOT. Each part has its own significance which has been explained below:
Module 1-ROUTE: It revolves around IP Routing and covers topics like EIGRP, OSPF, IPV6, BGP, MPLS, etc.
Module 2-SWITCH: It is about switching technologies that can be used in switched network like VLAN, Inter-VLAN, VTP, STP, RSTP, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP etc.
Module 3-TSHOOT: This module of the CCNP R&S certification is all about troubleshooting and maintaining various IP networks.
